The last fee increase for the U.S. card was two years ago I think. So we are probably going to get hit next year.
I first got the platinum card when it was still by invitation only. Now anyone can apply (at least for U.S.) so the exclusivity is long gone.
I doubt an invitation for the black card will ever arrive.
