We are not snorkeling or diving people and we've done enough Stingray City tours to last us, so all that leaves is a long beach, turtle farm, and tourist trap post office/souvenir shop with a rock formation behind it. Oh, I forgot the butterfly farm. Just isn't interesting anymore, but I am a car enthusiast so next time around I'll go ashore for the exhibit. At least that way they'll be getting some of my tourist dollars.
Another issue is tendering. I weigh the the hassle of tendering against having a nice quiet ship to relax on during the stop. A dock makes it easier to decide to go ashore and at least wander around. The Cayman government continues to use a Byzantine approach to dock construction. The present project still is wallowing in bureaucracy.
