Default Cruise Wishes
This is a new verse. I used a difficult riming scheme, and I am not too happy with it; however, I do think it conveyed the thoughts I intended.

Cruise Wishes

When I was a young lad,
I knew naught of the sea,
For I dwelled on the land far away.
The gentle sea breezes
Meant nothing to me,
Nor did the dolphins at play.

But when I grew older,
I learned of the tales
Of the sailors who lived on the waves,
Of the search for new lands
Or the bounty of whales.
The wide oceans made them their slaves.

It was then that I knew,
And what I must try
To live part of my life on the sea.
With the wind and the waves
And the sharp seagull's cry
Making wonderful memories for me.

Now though not a captain
Nor part of the crew
I can sail on a vessel so fine.
I can glide cross the ocean
And exhault in te blue,
The wishes of youth are now mine!
