If you happen to have enough points during your second cruise you should get the D+ status while on that cruise. You're right about a lot of B2B passenger taking advantage of the double and triple points. The prices are a lot higher than when I booked my cruise. I got
JS's for $1150pp. Now I would have to pay that for a D-1 category. I'll be 70 points away from Pinnacle after my three weeks of triple points. RCCL sure got their hook in me with all the different statuses. By the time I get my Pinnacle pin they'll probably have another goal like Pinnacle plus.
