Oliver Wendell Holmes words in the poem "Old Ironsides" says it well for Us:
"The Harpies of the Shore shall pluck
That Eagle of the Seas!"

Having sailed on Her Many Years ago.....I shall miss her dearly...She was a Grand Lady!!
