One other thought...
I have packing lists saved on my computer (depending on the length of the cruise and if there are 3 or 4 of us going ~ older son misses some now that he is in college)
I also have a LOAD LIST...that makes sure everything I packed gets in the car.
Documents
Airline Tickets
Passports
Black Suitcase
Pilot Bag
etc etc etc
I literally check off that list as it goes into the car.
