I can not speak for those excursions. However last year in Juneau I took a Photo Safari by land and sea. It was the best excursion I ever took. The guide knew his stuff and knew where to find the whales. My wife did not take the excursion and says next time she is going on it.
What you see will depend on the time of year. Eagle were not around as much on this trip, as they were of our other cruises.
