I was talking to a bar tender one evening on Princess. He was from England. He said that he made between $12-$25/hour tending bar in England, depending on the bar. I couldn't believe it, I made $3/hr. plus tips when I tended bar. I thought it was great since when I waited tables I only made $1.80/hour (I started at $1.10/hour). So, in that sense, I guess tips are built into the salaries.
