The king crab they serve are usually split, and the crab claws I've had before have been cracked at least at the joints. Which reminds me, I had a Florida stone crab claw in Miami before we sailed at dinner the night before. Wow, they are so tasty. I still don't know who decided they were better cold. When I was younger, they used to serve them steamed with drawn butter. OMG were they heavenly!
