We just sent the last child to college - getting ready to book our first cruise tomorrow - 7 days Seward to Vancouver on the Zaandam next May for DH and myself. I am confused! Could someone give us some ideas on getting from Anchorage to Seward? Would it be advantagous to fly in a day early and try to take an excursion before boarding the ship? Which excursion? How does that work? I am really feeling overwhelmed and the travel agent doesn't seem to be able to explain it - she says she won't know the details until the date is closer. How am I supposed to decide whether to book the air with her or get my own unless she knows the details? Any ideas on hotels? Help!
