Children eat what their parents present to them.
When I was growing up, we never went to fast food restaurants. I remember going to Arby's and Hardee's on field trips with Girl Scouts, and my mom took my brother and I to Krystal in Jacksonville, FL when my dad was in Vietnam -- but that was only for nostalgia -- my mom grew up in Jacksonville and that was the high school hang-out back when Krystal first began.
You eat what you're taught to eat. Eating at my house was like going to a different country every night. We even played the music indicative of the country where the food originated. If my dad said something was good, I believed him.
I will really enjoy the food served in the dining room on Carnival Holiday. Hamburgers -- forget about it!
