Carnival is the only cruiseline that offers the military discount to those who have served 2 or more years honorably. You are only allowed to book one room with the discount and the military veteran must travel.
At certain times, Carnival will offer the "Friends and Family" program where you can book two additional cabins at a slightly higher rate than the military discount.
Not all sailings have the military discount and it is capacity controlled. Basically if all the allotment is gone, then no discount.
Dont forget to have your TA check the rate against the past passenger or residency rates as sometimes these are lower. The MIL and PastPAX rates can drop before the cruise so it pay$ to check.
Our 5-day cruise on the Holiday this Sept 11 is $600 for two people in an OV GTY. We got upgraded two categories so we are in a 6C cabin.
