Hi Tabby, welcome to cruise-chat. Both Costa Maya and Grand Cayman are great for beaches. There are ruins in Costa Maya. Grand Cayman I would recommend Stingray City and 7 mile beach. There is some great snorkeling as well. Hope this helps a little!
