I actually received one on Freedom end of last month. Was good..Very relaxing. I received one through Disney Cruise line (on their Island)..Disney's ws horrible.
I almost fell asleep. On Freedom they offered atleast 2 "specials" for massages for $99. One in middle of cruise and 2nd one was towards end of cruise..NOT sure if they offered one in beginning. Mine included foot massage (I declined that..I have sensitive feet), a facial, and they did use warm stones and blankets. It was about 50 minutes.
They will try to sell you lotions, etc. they used on you..But they do not "push" you to make purchase.
Yes it is cheaper to get done on land. Husband bought it as a gift to me..I didn't say no
Must admit came REALLY close to massage I get at home..I would do it again when I go on RCCL.
