The destiny is now my favorite ship, I'm not sure if it is because of the newly refurbished rooms or the itinerary of ports but it ended up to be the best cruise that i have ever been on, the ship had a different breed of people than normal, everyone was having a good time and there was alot more dancing on the pool deck than normal, not alot of drunks just people having fun.
i had the most fun in Puerto Rico and am glad we flew in 2 days early. st. thomas has the most beautiful beaches in the world so be sure to make that a stop. In adominica take a taxi to the rainforest for a swim in the falls and then a relaxing dip in the hot sulfer springs.
Go to the Boatyard in Barbados, fun! fun! fun!
Aruba, went to the topless beach during the day(yes I am a woman with grown children) and later that night went to Carlos & charlies its a great family fun place. the taxi's are cheaper in Aruba than any other port and the bus only costs about $1 each and stops at all the beaches.
This year we are going on the Valor but i hope to sail on the Destiny once again next year.
