Well gee, all I was trying to do was cheer everybody up a little but it obviously didn't work. So the only thing to do now is take TravlPro's advise and book longer cruises and get past the c.s.p.!
And besides, are the blues really such a bad thing? They make us appriciate the good times.
fredo, you are right; working on a ship is not the same as being a passenger--but it was darn close; and one heck of a way to make a living. It use to tickle me when, in conversation with passengers, the subject of accomodations would eventually come up; they would want to know how things were down in the crew quarters, only to find out I had a better cabin than they did. (that wasn't always the case, but I often had oceanview cabins all to myself)
