In my humble opinion, I tip when I have been treated well. I tip my hair dresser, I tip my tour guides, etc. I don't tip my doctor or accountant, because they don't treat me well. I have to wait for hours in a doctor's office for an appointment that was made months before. I don't think my accountant does a good job either, so I try to do as much as I can on my own. Nonetheless, I have to pay their exhorbitant fees. If I spent $800 on a private tour and was treated accordingly, I'd probably throw in a little extra. If I didn't feel the excursion was worth what I paid, I think I'd leave things alone. Just my opinion. Best Wishes!!
