Funny thing about this one day sale yesterday... It's still on and will be tomorrow as well. I had a client who booked a quad months ago and I got an email saying "please cancel his booking". He didn't state the reason. He then attempted to book the same cruise direct with RCCL. Not only would they not honor the promotion (always look for the little asterisk, *for new bookings only) they had no more quad cabins for his sailing date in the category and price he originally had. So today I get a pleading phone call asking me to reinstate his booking. Unfortunately his cabin is sold and can't be put back together.
Before you ever try and cancel a booking be sure you know what you're in for. Consequences for trying to get a few buck worth of onboard credit can be substantial. If he'd asked me or told me why he wanted to cancel I could have researched it. Under the circumstances I may have given him the onboard credit to save the booking, it was a substantial booking.
