Hi Crafter315,

We are going on a Christmas cruise too - the Emerald Princess Decemember 20 into the Caribbean. Just the idea of being away from all the hustle and rat race of Xmas is what is driving us. So, hopefully, Princess will not go too "over the top" with decorations, etc. A nice meal Christmas Eve and a nice dinner on Christmas Day - that would be wonderful. Hey, in my opinion, any meal is fine as long as I do not have to PREPARE it. Ha Ha. I was on a Halloween cruise last fall and Norwegian really went to town with the Halloween Party that night and I was very impressed with all the passengers who brought costumes on board. I am telling you some of those costumes would have taken an additional suitcase. Staff got very into the Halloween mood and the entire day and evening was fabulous so I am looking forward to seeing what PRincess will do for Xmas but I won't be disappointed if there is only minimal. Cheers.
