I grew up on the Mexican/Texas border and I'm Bi-lingual so driving "on the other side" came easily for me.
With that said, I would NOT recommend it for anyone in a tourist area and particularly if you are not familiar with the traffic laws. Don't know if things have changed but the "law" used to be "El que pega, paga!" He who hits, pays.
