She did pay everything up front and even the airline tickets at the same time through a travel agent and was told she would get her room number when she checked in at embarkation. When they arrived the told her they were sold out and that she was supposed to of been upgraded by the cruiseline and someone dropped the ball, when she showed them her confirmation and all her paperwork but they just told her there was nothing they could do because they had a full ship. They did give her back her money and offered her a big discount on a future cruise but unfortunately she had to re do her flight back and everything. The good thing was she had purchased insurance and it helped her with the cost. I just thought it would be unusual for that type of thing to happen.
