Cunard actually announced back on May 4th that they would establish fuel supplements on any new bookings that had departure dates of November 1st and beyond. Fortunately, no other cruise lines followed suit. I was surprised at the time because gas prices had been maintaining a lower cost. Hopefully, no new taxes will be placed on gas and prices will remain down. Funny how we now are conditioned to think that $2.50 a gallon is low.
