It's a great trip, even if it's raining/misting(as it likely will be). Don't be afraid to take a hike at the top even if it is wet... you'll be glad you did.

We were in Juneau last year on the Sun Princess. We had beautiful weather the whole week.... not one bit of rain and few clouds.

Last time while in Juneau we went to the Mendelhall Glacier, we loved it. We want to do a few other things this time. Sounds like we will be back there in 2008 with some friends.

When you did the glacier, did you do the flight tour? I highly recommend a whale watching trip too. We did that and got to watch a humpback whale playing with some sealions. It was so cool. Thats the 1 trip I will always do in Juneau. It was combined with a bus trip to the glacier as well. I loved Juneau.
By the way, Im planning on 2008 as well. This will be my 3rd cruise up there. The first was round trip out of Seattle on the Oosterdam, this last one in August was out of Vancouver on the Ryndam. We got off in Seward as I have cousins in Seward and Anchorage. Spent a week there. My cousin has a B&B in Seward right on the shore of Resurrection Bay. Its gorgeous.

No we took the tour bus back there then did the salmon bake deal. I wanted to do some walking. Next time might do the choppers.
Our first trip was last year. A seven day roundtrip from Seattle. On the Sun Princess loved it. This year we are on a seven dalor roundtrip from Vancouver on Hal the Zaandam.
I love the area and could do it everyyear.
By the way, I put one of your sunset pics as the background on my computer. Hope you dont mind. You take awesome photos. I am into photography now and have even sold a couple enlargements of sunset pics from the ship this last trip, as well as a glacier pic. I love taking pictures.
