We have signed up for the following excursion: "Taku Glacier Lodge Flight and Feast". This is in Juneau and we booked the ship excursion. We will be on the Coral Princess.

Has anyone done this tour through Princess? Did you enjoy it?

I go every year with my family...
I went to school with the Maas kids when their family was still running the lodge. When we all moved away, the Maas's sold it to Wings of Alaska, and they've done a great job of preserving the attraction and conducting the tours.

You'll love it. I think the only tour I'd put higher on my "must do list" is a sport fishing or Tracy Arm trip, but I'm a bit biased too! ;-)

Nadine, we did Taku .... excellent, worth every penny....beautiful area....food was delicious. The only other ones that we liked equally, was the Whale and Wildlife quests we have done. Just about to go for our 4th time to Alaska, and we do one of these every time. Got to do that too!

jd, I don't think we have time to do both excursions, but I wish we did. The Taku excursion and the Whale & Wildlife Quest were our two favorites and we only have time for one.

I am hoping so much that we see whales from the ship. My husband really, really wants to do a float plane, so at this point, that is what we are doing. We may change our minds. We'll see!
