Taking a cruise in late June. Wondering about the fishing charters. Ketchikan and Juneau. Which one or both. Thank you.

Ketchikan is more known for its fishing tours then Juneau but they are in both places. I have never done a fishing tour in Alaska, I grew up in a commercial fishing family so it doesn't interest me anymore LOL. I know I have seen people coming off the boats in Ketchikan frequently with fish.

We booked a 1/2 day charter in Homer left at 6 am everyone on the boat had their limit by 9am fished a bit more catch and release and then returned home eary out of sheer exhaustion.
I heard the mosquitoes the last week of June are horrific...but not sure on that. We went the end of May.
