Dinner dressing

Hi, We are going on our first cruise, (to alaska), we will have our two teenage girls. I read no jeans in the dining room. Does this rule apply to jean skirts (tastefully dressed teen girls). We will be on Princess. Very excited. Would love any input. Will we encounter some decent weather, we are sailing in the beginning of August. We are expecting weather of about 65-70. Thanks, Barb

For smart casual nights, a jean skirt would be acceptable, but not for formal nights. Depending on the age of your teens, they may feel slightly under dressed, but that depends on how fashion conscious they are. You can always opt for the buffets if they don't want to dress up.
