excursion help needed.

Ok, ok, here is a question that is always asked, but I really need some ideas. I am definitely doing the White Pass Railroad. I need ideas for Juneau(7am to 3pm), Ketichan(7am to 1pm), and Victoria, BC(7:30pm to 12:00am)? It will be myself and my Mother...celebrating her 60th birthday.

Juneau is a great place for a whale watching excursion, or a helicopter ride to land on a glacier. Be prepared for rain in Juneau. Our whale watching excursion also included a stop on the way back to a bridge to watch salmon spawning and swimming upstream. The guide told us all about the process, the distances salmon swim, etc. Very interesting.

In Ketchikan we did a boat excursion to a rain forest, where we hiked a trail through the forest. Loved it!
