My wife, mother-in-law, two sons (10 and 14 at the time), and I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion. Some of the trip was on paved roads, some was on back roads (tough on the ol' kidneys). Really nice scenery throughout the trip. The canoe trip across the small lake to the rain forest was not overly exerting, the walk through the mini rain forest was short (wish it had been longer). The trip also included some smoked salmon and hot chocolate. It was very good. When we took the Alaskan cruise in July 2005, we had the early dinner seating; on this day, which happened to be lobster night in the dining room, we returned too late to eat in the dining room. In retrospect, I'd take the excursion, even knowing that I'd miss the lobster.
