We are planning an inside passage Alaska cruise. Some ships visit Hubbard glacier, others cruise Glacier Bay. From the viewpoint of scenery, calfing, whales, etc., is one of these destinations significantly more impressive than the other? Thanks for your advice.

You really don't have a choice of where you're going. We were on the Sun Princess last year, and thought we were doing Glacier Bay. Found out a couple of weeks before we left, we would be going to Hubbard instead. It's government controlled for environmental reasons. We saw plenty of calving at Hubbard. We're going back on Seven Seas Mariner next September, and again Glacier Bay is scheduled. Only have to wait and see. Good luck.
