Alaska Inside Passage

I always try to stay away from ship sponsored tours and this is our first trip to Alaska/ Canadian Rockies. Stops are Vancouver, Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Hubbard Glacier, Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary and Kamloops. Any advice?

I can't speak for the interior Canadian stops but the inside passage ports are extremely easy to do on your own. Each port has a wealth of local tour options the second you get off the ship.
