I am on the waitlist to take the seaplane crab feast excursion, and considering that they only take 12 people, I feel that my chances are slim.

Does anyone know if there is another way to take this excursion?

Has anyone taken this tour and is it worth it?

If you are talking about the Ketchikan crab feast, you can also get there by boat. I know that Princess offers that as a shore excursion because I am booked on it.

Thank you, I have seen this excursion by boat, but we have one helicopter, one rail and one boat booked and I thought the seaplane would be a differenct experience.

I think that the boat crab feast looks fantastic, I hope you have a wonderful time.

We'll be in Ketchikan on 6/29.

If you read this before you reach Ketchikan--by all means, do the George Inlet Lodge crabfeast anyway you can. I got there by floatplane last month and can say it ranks as a Top 3 highlight of my 2 weeks in Alaska.
