We are going on a Celebrity Cruise on May 20, 2006 and we leave from San Francisco CA. We have never left out of San Francisco before is there anything we should be aware of? With the San Francisco Traffic and is there any tricks to getting us and are luggage out of the car. Also previous postings have talked about dry dock for the infinity will it be completed before my cruise? Thank you in advance.

Hi this the other CatLady. My husband and I live in northern CA and are planning on driving down the morning of the sailing and parking in the port parking lot covered garage (55 Francisco St.) for the cruise ($12-$14/day). It's about 3 blocks from Pier 35 - the cruise dock. I think we should be OK for 3 blocks with rolling luggage. Just allow plenty of time for SF traffic - can be busy on Saturdays. From what I've read, Infinity was in drydock in March and is out now ...

Thanks for the advise catlady we also from northern california we are driving in on Saturady from the Sacramento area. I put a reply on your whale watching post sorry I was so late to reply I'm on 3 boards at once.
