Hello everyone! I posted this on the Princess forum but got no responces. This seems like the place I should have posted this question.

I'm getting Married on the Coral Princess June 2003 in Alaska =) I'm VERY excited! We have a total of 12 people going. We are doing a North bound sailing (Vancouver, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and disembarking in Seward). I’m looking for some opinions and tips as to what we should do in the ports. I really want to go on a helicopter to a glacier but am not sure what port it would be better to do it in. (just FYI, my group will most likely be splitting up in the ports and doing different things).

My fiancé and I went to Mexico on the Star Princess and did a kayaking excursion that lasted the whole time in Puerto Vallarta, so I never got to venture around the town, and I kind of regretted doing that excursion there as many people said that it was their favorite port. I just want to avoid doing the same thing.

So any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You! And Happy Cruising!!!

Though we didn't do that while on our Alaska cruise, I understand that Juneau is probably your best choice for helicoptering to a glacier.
One piece of advice for Alaska, any time of year: be prepared for rain, clouds, cool weather, etc.,especially in Ketchikan, and look at every sunny day as a bonus. That way you'll be able to enjoy the cruise and all that goes with it!
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
