Sitka excursions

We stopped in Sitka last summer. It is a good stop if you like to walk. The raptor centre is about 1/2 hour down the road. Closer is the native heritage museum and totem park which has lots of trail to walk around. Didn't go into the sheldon jackson museum, but it is not far from the pier. The start of the day was foggy and drizzly, but by the afternoon the mountains were clear.

Thanks Jill. We have emailed back and forth with the Chamber. We have made up our minds to reply on our feet and the bus. Sounds like a good place to get out and walk.
