Multiple Excursions in Skagway - Too Close?

Hi everyone.

I currently have two excursions booked in Skagway, and am wondering if I'm cutting it too close between excursions (1 hour and 10 minutes between excursions). If it matters, the excursions I'm doing are this one (8:00 - 11:30 am) and this one (12:40 pm - 4:10 pm).

I was planning on staying onshore between excursions, and not go back on the ship between.

I've actually got another multiple excursion day planned in Ketchikan, but I'm not so much worried about that one, as I have 2 hours between excursions.

Princess suggests at least one hour between tours (click http://www.princess.com/learn/faq_an...excursions.jsp and select "multiple excursions in one port"). Keep in mind that the duration of the first tour is approximate. You definitely do not want to miss the White Pass RR -- yet, you might have a bit more of a cushion there as the train leaves a little later than the meeting time, although there will be some cutoff point for checking in. You can check the train schedule as it gets closer.

Thanks Lisa. I know the excursion times are approximate, and I did see on Princess' website that info. They do give breakdowns of the duration on the excursions as well. Example, I saw on the first excursion it's a 30 minute ride to the site, then a 25 minute info session, then the 1.75 hour horseback ride, then a 20 minute snack, then the 30 minute ride back to the ship, to account for the 3.5 hours.
