fyi: we have checked every way possible to get from seattle to vancouver princess dock. after speaking to princess & checking other options we are getting a bus transfer from princess. they pick you up at the seattle airport & drop you off at the dock in vancouver. it costs $49 per person. we can do this the day for our cruise so that will save us an overnight stay in vancouver. my one concern with taking a commercial carrier the same day of the cruise was what would happen if the bus was delayed. i was told by princess that if we took their cruise bus that the ship would not leave without us. if we made our own arrangement that they were not responsible if you missed the ship. the other issue with us is that my husband is handicapped & has a motorized scooter. we wanted the least amount of transfer as possible. they also said they would be happy to help with our luggage & scooter. for us, this is the best way to go.

Hi sophiesmom and welcome to Cruise Chat.

Sounds like you made the best choice. The $49 per person doesn't seem like a lot of money, when you consider the services it includes, and the fact that the drive from Seattle to Vancouver is about 3 hours. Plus, it's nice to know the ship won't leave without you, should there be a delay on the bus.

That sounds like $49 well spent.
