Victoria Excursions: Ghosts or Observatory

I'm interested in an excursion called Victoria's Ghosts and Graveyards. The Diamond Princess is only in port from 7 pm to midnight. We've see Butchart, had tea at Empress and have seemed to do everything else in the excursion list. Considering it is at night, I thought this excursion would be unique, if it is worth a few good stories. Has anyone been on this excursion. Other cruise lines offer it as well. There is one other thing that another cruise line offers: viewing at the observatory. Does anyone know how to do that on your own?
