The rooms are the same size it is a personal preference if you want a balcony or not
We have done both cabin types & we did not use the balcony much
Your cruise is port intensive .. you need to ask yourself how much time will you spend on the balcony?
We did 32 days in C1 cabin deck 4 & 26 days in B2 deck 6
We found we spent more time on deck or on shore than in the cabin.
enjoy the cruise

No matter how port intensive a cruise is we would still want a balcony. After a busy day on shore it is especially nice to be able to enjoy the departure from your own private space. Also, when travelling with a partner, it is pleasant to enjoy the balcony while your partner is hogging the bathroom. If we had to chose between a cruise with a balcony or 2 cruises without, it would be no contest. We would always chose the balcony.

It is a personal choice

For us it is not that important

Of course it is a personal choice. I envy you for not caring - what a lot of money you save.

Personally, we would stay at home if we could not have a balcony. I love to sleep with the doors open and hear and smell the water. I love to watch from our our balcony as we arrive and leave the ports. I love to relax on the balcony while waiting for DH to get out of the bathroom!!! On port days I love to be awakened by the arrival of breakfast which we can enjoy on the balcony to save time going to the dining room.

To each his own.
