I spent two weeks on the Costa Atlantica, and it could not be faulted. (I am in the UK though)
The kids are taken care of, with plenty to do.
The staterooms (any cabin) are all first class
The food is excellent, with anything you wish to
eat available from 05:00 through to 02:00
that is 21 hours eating available if you so wish
The main evening meal is mainly Italian though
there is always at least one Steak type meal
there.
The eleven or so other eating stations offer
everything from burgers.steaks.pizzas and off
course Pasta all day
All drinks including water are to be paid for
however you can purchase these upfront at a big
discount and it is well worth it if you have
children,
You are advised by myself if you like wine to
buy the offered full week supply card which
also gives you the water at your meals
Again with children buy a soft drink card
one payment upfront gives unlimited drinks which is worth it, believe me kids on a cruise can sup a lot of coke, (you could cheat and buy
two cards and feed the three)
The Atlantica is very very impressive and you will love it,
The Atlantica is five star cruising, without the snobbery on UK ships, You can be dressed
clean and casual rather than dinner suit and cocktail dress.Unless that is what you want,
everyone fits in together
Enjoy your Costa Cruise with confidence
Happy holiday
