I'm booked through my company on the European Vision saling from Venice May 16th. Other than what I'm reading on their web-site, does anyone have any info on their survival?. Has anyone one else booked with Festival?

Hi,

there are conflicting reports. Festival claims that negotiations with its banks are in their final stages, while reputable news services say the company's three largest ships are to be sold on auction because no agreement could be reached.

A court in Barbados will reportedly set an auction date for the "European Vision" on Monday.

I hope Festival does come out ok. It seems as though MSC Cruises wants to buy Festival ships...

I think what might happen is if the deal with the banks fells through the ships will be auctioned...

Hello Raoul,

Could you please tell me if there're any changes with Festival Cruises. If the court in Barbados took place yesterday or not ? I'm much concerned about European Stars.

Thank you in Advance,

Kind regards,
Kate.

Hello Raoul,

Is there anything about Festival ? I heard contradictory information, vague rumours concerning their meeting with creditors. Do you have any definite information concerning the company ?

Thank you in advance

Kate.

Hi Kate,

the company's creditors were reportedly unwilling to meet with Festival. However, it now seems the governments of Italy and France have been able to arrange a meeting for next week. I guess we will have to wait until then.

Raoul
I asked one of my Regional Mgrs where were going on the cruise & he said same ship, same location with Festival. Have you heard anything since last week?
Thanks for you insight.
