That's a tough one. I think they would probably have fun on either. Both will have activities for all the age groups. Disney just redid their ships taking out the ESPN lounge replacing it with a teen area. I wonder though if your 18 year old is 18 going on 21? Or are they still into the Disney thing? The Disney ships are typical Disney with Mickey, Mickey, Mickey everywhere. The shows are Disney themed. So if your children all still get excited over seeing anything Disney, then they should have a great time on the cruise. If they are saying they are too old for Mickey then I would go with Carnival. There are many adults that still love Disney. Disney's private island Castaway Cay is fun too. Hope this helps a little.
