I'm planning to take this cruise in July and wondered if anyone has any experience with a Celebrity Med cruise. We are embarking from Rome, going to Naples, Greece, Malta, Barcelona, Villefranche and back to Citavecchia with 3 days at sea. Wondering what to expect re: Shore excursions, heat, expense on ship for drinks etc. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I am also doing the same cruise in August. I went ti www,celebrity.com and got all the info on bar prices, shore excursions.
I am going to be cruising on the Galaxy to the Mediterranean this June 24th (2005). Can anyone give me advice about booking transfers to/from Civitavecchia and Rome?

There are a number of reliable services that you can book in advance. Limos and van shuttle services will run around 120 - 150 Euro. Just do a google search using Rome airport or Civitavecchia transfers and there are tons listed. I know initaly.com, romaclick.com and rome-shuttle.com are just three off the top of my head.
