Anyone been on Costa Magica

I was looking for info on this cruise. We are taking the Magica on Jan 21 2007 to the Eastern Caribbean. I have never sailed on Costa and was looking for any info I can get. I have heard pros and cons.

It's been a long time since I've cruised on Costa. We're going on the Magica December 23rd. I'm really looking forward to it. The last time I sailed Costa was on the CarlaC (telling my age now). It was so much fun. The waiters were awesome, the food was pretty good, the staff and crew were amazing. It was definitely a fun atmosphere and not as formal as some of the other lines I've been on. It was more on the lines of Carnival or NCL. I'll let you know how it went when we come back. Best wishes!!

I was on the Costa Magica a few months ago and still working on my Mega-review (I have been so busy cruising, I haven't had time to complete the reviews - VBG).

I enjoyed the cruise. The ship is quite attractive and there is a variety of entertainment to keep most everyone happy (perhaps one of the major strengths). Food was good (not outstanding, but certainly acceptable). Staff was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to sail her again.
