I took a weekend cruise to nowhere from Sydney in the mid 70's. It was operated by Shaw Savill but used a russian cruise liner they must have chartered. Can anyone help me with the name of that vessel?

this was most likely the "Fedor Shalyapin". You can read about that ship here. It was scrapped in India two years or so ago.
