Fantail cabins

Does anybody know the desirability of a cabin with balcony on the fantail (rear of the ship)?

It's difficult to answer your question without knowing which ship you are talking about.

However, on many ships, I consider those cabins to be highly desirable, as they often have significantly larger balconies than cabins on the port and starboard sides. This does, however, not apply to all ships.
