On the other hand, we hated Oceania. Went on Insignia November 2005. Captain did not tell us that we were coming in late everywhere because one of the engines was out. A low level staff person whispered it in our ear - then we checked the TV screen for speed and, sure enough, we were limping across the Med. We think honesty is a good policy. No compensation for the problem either.
Food was not all that great either and the ship was full of people with walkers, etc. Stabilizers were very poor and one day the captain closed down all the elevators because of waves. The poor people who were walking impaired were stuck in their rooms for 24 hrs.
Barcelona is the pickpocket capital of the world. Gorgeous city not to be missed but put a little money and one credit card in your shoe and leave everything else in your hotel safe. Several of us got hit by pickpockets at various locations in the city. Young Muslim men work in teams.
