people suffering from Tinnitus that cruise

Hi, was wondering if anyone has cruised that suffers from Tinnitus. I suffer from this with the ringing ears, and can get off balance really easily. With the motion of a ship, does anyone know if this enhances the condition. I realise that this question would only apply to a small number of people, but am hoping that someone might have Tinnitus, and tell me that they have been fine when cruising (fingers crossed )

My wife and I both have what our otologist describes as mild cases and we've never had a problem cruising. But every case is different; I think you should discuss this with your doctor before trying a cruise.

I hope he gives you the okay. Have you ever discussed niacin supplements with your doctor? It has helped me. But don't start taking it without talking to your doctor; it could cause other problems.

thanks for that, the cruise is only a weekend at sea, so hopefully even if it does effect me I should be able to put up with it for a couple of days...cheers
