Well, our voyage to the USA is drawing nearer by the day. The excitement is building especially after reading several good books on the QM2. If anyone else has done a recent crossing aboard this ship I'd love to hear from you.

Barney, I haven't done a crossing, but I did do a 10-night Caribbean sailing on QM2. I loved every minute of it. It's elegant but accessible and friendly. One of the buffet areas transforms into a different specialty restaurant each night, at no extra charge. Be sure to try them all.

I know folks who have done transatlantics, and did them repeatedly. There are many, many activity offerings during the day, everything from classes in computers and drama, to concerts to lectures. Of course, you shouldn't miss any of the Planetarium shows. They're excellent.

You'll have an amazing time. Come back online after crossing the pond and let us know how it went!
