My husband and I are once again interested in sailing on the Aida or one of her new sister ships. In 1999 we were stationed in Germany with the U.S. Air Force and took a German cruise called the Aida. While stationed in Germany we were regular customers to the European Spas. If Iím going to have a nice relaxing day, I would also like to enjoy the company of my husband. The European cruise lines gave us this opportunity as well as visiting some wonderful places. Back in America, we are limited to a very small topless sunbathing area at the top of the ship. Looking for a cruise line that would offer co-ed spa and sauna areas. Please help! Iím not getting anywhere. Years ago the Aida had an English version of their web page, but I canít find it anymore. Thank you for your time.

Hi,

you are correct, the English AIDA web site seems to be gone.

AIDA is now a part of Carnival Corporation, so if you are interested in booking an AIDA cruise, it might be a good idea to call Carnival Corp. to ask where this is possible for somebody living in the U.S.

Another possible contact would be Princess Cruises (now also part of Carnival Corp.). Seetours (the German Carnival affiliate which operates AIDA) also markets Princess in Germany, so this might be vice-versa.

Finally, if you send me your postal address by private mail, I will try to get an AIDA brochure for you. It's in German only, of course.

BTW From next April, AIDA will have a fourth ship "AIDAblu" - the former "A'Rosa Blu" / "Crown Princess". She's much larger than the rest of the fleet at more than 70,000 gt. Her summer 2004 deployment takes her to the Baltic, Norwegian Fjords and "Top of the World".

Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Good Morning to all,
Thanks a million Raoul Fiebig, this information helps a lot. I'm picking up docs this afternoon at our travel agent for up coming cruise to Belize, so will pass the information on. A brochure would be wonderful. Wish I could pop over there and visit some Christmas markets and pick one up myself! Our mailing adress:
