The ultra luxury cruise ship Seabourn Pride will sail a 13-day voyage along the eastern seaboard that combines the highlights of a fall foliage cruise in Canada and New England with a survey of some of America’s most historic ports from the nation’s colonial era. The last six days of the voyage, from New York to Alexandria, Virginia, also features a Great American Food & Wine Festival on board, with celebrity guest chef Charlie Palmer, tastings of American foods and wines and optional culinary excursions in the ports of call.

The voyage starts in Quebec on October 10th, and includes calls at Halifax, Boston, Newport, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore before ending at Alexandria, for Washington, D.C. on October 23rd.

Aside from the shamelessly indulgent array of amenities and services that Seabourn describes as its “Signature Delights,” all 208 guests on board will be invited to an Exclusively Seabourn shoreside experience at Halifax, where they can gain a privileged, behind-the-scenes glimpse of 19th century military life with members of the Highland Regiment and the Royal Artillery at the city’s hilltop Citadel.

Chef Palmer, whose Progressive American cuisine delights diners with bold flavors, a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients and playful presentations, will conduct a cooking demonstration and create a special Harvest Market dinner one evening in the ship’s open-seating Restaurant.

Guarantee Fares for the voyage are just $3,695 per person, based on double occupancy of a 277-square foot ocean-view Seabourn suite.
